Ingredients

  • salmon fillet 2 pieces
  • turmeric root 1 piece
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper 0.5 teaspoons
  • lemon 1 piece
  • dried thyme 1 sprig
  • broccoli 0.5 cups
  • white onion 1 piece
  • fresh ginger root 2 ounces
  • extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons
  • garlic clove 2 cloves

Instructions

  1. Peel the turmeric and blend with olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in the turmeric oil and let rest for at least 2 hours.
  3. Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into small florets, and the zucchini and onion into cubes. Blanche the broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini in boiling water with salt for 3 minutes.
  4. Chop the garlic and peeled ginger. In a cold sauté pan, place olive oil, garlic, and ginger. Set to high temperature. Once hot, add all the vegetables and sauté.
  5. In a nonstick pan, cook the marinated salmon, skin side down first, then on the sides, until the desired doneness is reached.
