Sugar-Free Apple and Cinnamon Purée
Apple and cinnamon purée is a simple, homemade dessert with no added sugar. It works great as a snack or as an addition to various dishes. You can prepare it in advance and store it for a longer period.

Ingredients
- apple 5 kilograms
- cinnamon powder 1 tablespoon
- water 0.5 cups

- knife
- cutting-board
- large-pot
- spoon
- blender
Instructions
- Peel the apples and remove the cores. Cut the fruit into pieces.
- Place the chopped apples in a large pot. Add a splash of water.
- Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the apples break down.
- Add cinnamon to the cooked apples and mix thoroughly.
- Blend the hot fruit for about 2 minutes until you get a smooth purée.
- Transfer the hot purée into jars. There is no need to pasteurize.
Serving suggestions
You can use the purée as an addition to breakfast, for example with yogurt or cereal, or as a filling for pancakes or cakes.
Storage suggestions
Store the hot purée in jars, sealed, preferably in a cool and dark place.
